The Illinois Business Education Association's 2010 Conference is coming this fall to Effingham, IL. The conference features secondary teachers, community college instructors, university professors and other educators who share innovative programs and strategies that have been successful in their classrooms. This year's conference theme is "Rethink, Revise, and Re-energize."
As business educators, we recognize the importance of staying up-to-date in our field. There are times when we must Rethink what we are currently doing in the classroom in order to make improvements on what we are already doing successfully. At other times, we must Revise our curriculum due to changes in technology and the way things are done in business. And all teachers reach a point in the year or their careers that they need to Re-energize themselves.
The goal of the Illinois Business Education Association's annual conference is to provide experiences to help one another grow professionally, to showcase exemplary strategies and programs, and to share ideas and activities with one another.
