The 2007 IBEA Outstanding Secondary Teacher of the Year Award was presented to Heather Genesio at the IBEA Fall Conference in Springfield. Mrs. Genesio has been a business teacher with Pinckneyville Community High School for 14 years and has taught part-time at Kaskaskia College. She also developed the Web site for Pinckneyville Community High School and coordinates the Cooperative Education Program.
