About Us:

EIBEA is made up of business teachers from the Eastern region of the State of Illinois. We are an affiliate of the Illinois Business Education Association. Our purpose is to promote business education and to share instructional resources and teaching techniques with other business educators.

Fall 2025 Meeting:

The Eastern Illinois Business Education Association Fall 2025 Meeting will be held November 6, 2025 at the IBEA Fall Conference in Springfield, IL.

Spring 2025 Meeting Recap:

The Eastern Illinois Business Education Association Spring 2025 Meeting was Tuesday, March 4 at the new "Chick-fil-A" franchise location in Mattoon, IL. There was a presentation/tour of the Chick-fil-A location where attendees learned what it takes to actually start a Franchise. The presentation was followed by dinner and a brief business meeting.

Congratulations to our local EIBEA member, Cindy Phipps from Lake Land College, on winning the Outstanding Post-Secondary Educator of the Year Award at the Fall 2024 IBEA Conference.
