W!SE Certification

W!SE Financial Literacy Certification for teachers will be offered only with a $50 fee pre-paid with conference registration. Teachers who pass the test earn a Certification in Personal Finance, a credential representing proficiency to teach personal finance. The test assesses instructor’s knowledge of personal finance on topics that are aligned to state and national standards. Certified teachers are subsequently encouraged to enroll their schools in the W!SE Financial Literacy Certification Program for students.

The session length is 1.5 hours to allow tester takers 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete the comprehensive 75 multiple-choice question assessment. BYOD (bring your own device). Details of the certification can be found online at www.wise-ny.org.

Certiport Certifications

Once again, IBEA conference attendees will have the opportunity to receive professional industry certifications! This year, Certiport will offer the following certifications for free: Adobe Certified Associate, IC3 Digital Literacy, Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) 2016, Microsoft Technology Associate (new coding exams), QuickBooks, and ESB (Entrepreneurship). Be sure to thank Certiport for making these exams available for FREE!
