WHAT IS IT?
A mentor program provided to pre-service or new Illinois business teachers and IBEA members.
SOME BENEFITS INCLUDE:
- Monthly virtual meetings with a mentor teacher and other members of the program to discuss lesson planning, organization and time management, classroom procedures, behavior management, and other relevant topics
- Free access to exclusive content, curriculum, and classroom management resources
- Access to mentor teacher for one-onone advice and guidance
- Entry into exclusive IBEA School Year Kick Off Event in August
THREE DIFFERENT TRACKS
PRE-SERVICE TRAINING - Designed for students enrolled in pre-service teacher training programs that have limited field experience. Open to all students who have completed or are currently enrolled in one education course.
NEW TEACHER SUPPORT - Designed for students who plan to student teach within the next 6 months, student teachers, and teachers that are new to the profession.
PROVISIONAL TEACHERS - Custom training designed for provisionally licensed teachers.
