The 2018-2019 IBEA President is Ms. Kathleen Daugherty, who is an instructor and program coordinator in the Office Professionals – Medical Department at Lake Land College. She teaches courses in medical office and computer applications.

Kathleen started teaching in 1995 at Lake Land College as an adjunct faculty and has been working there full time since 2009. Kathleen is a recipient of the Eastern Illinois Business Education Association (EIBEA) Teacher of the Year award. She is a representative to its state association board, where she represents her regional organization.
