IBEA Mentoring Program 2025-2026 - Pre-Service Teachers
WHAT IS IT?
A mentor program provided to pre-service or new Illinois business teachers and IBEA members. This program is FREE for IBEA members.
SOME BENEFITS INCLUDE:
- Monthly virtual meetings with a mentor teacher and other members of the program to discuss lesson planning, organization and time management, classroom procedures, behavior management, and other relevant topics
- Free access to exclusive content, curriculum, and classroom management resources
- Access to mentor teacher for one-on-one advice and guidance
- Entry into exclusive IBEA School Year Kick Off Event in August
THREE DIFFERENT TRACKS
PRE-SERVICE TRAINING
Designed for students enrolled in pre-service teacher training programs that have limited field experience. Open to all students who have completed or are currently enrolled in one education course.
NEW TEACHER SUPPORT
Designed for students who plan to student teach within the next 6 months, student teachers, and teachers that are new to the profession.
PROVISIONAL TEACHERS
Custom training designed for provisionally licensed teachers.

To register for these events, you will need to complete the registration form once for each event that you wish to attend. Registration is free for IBEA members. All non-members must pay a $50 fee to attend.
